The Systems Hub Template

Business systems don’t have to be complicated, but they usually feel that way. The Systems Hub is an intuitive way to keep every component of your systems in one location, from the tools you use, to the team members you work with, to the processes you go through.

The Systems Hub is made up of five linked databases that will help you create a comprehensive handbook for your business, while making documentation easier and more fun. When you open up one of your Systems in the Hub, you’ll see every step of each process involved (using Notion’s fancy synced blocks), every team member who plays a role in the system, and every tool you use to make the system more effective.

Within the databases, you’ll find several Notion page templates, including for SOPs, team member bios, and job descriptions that automatically list each process a particular role is responsible for. 

Also included is a customization guide to update all of the colors and icons, a training video on how to use the template, and a checklist of 25 potential SOPs to document.

🚨 Please note that the training video, unfortunately, does not currently include captions or a transcript. Should I download this if I don't use Notion?

If you are interested in using Notion, this template and the associated training video will likely be a great introduction to the power of the tool. If you’re happy with your current project management software, the principles behind The Systems Hub are still applicable, but may prefer my Business Operations Manual Template, which is a similar tool built in Google Docs instead of interlinked databases.

Will I be able to use this even if I'm new to Notion?

Definitely. The training video provided will walk you through everything from adding the template to your workspace to customizing the templates and adding your data. 

What type of businesses will this work for? 

The Systems Hub can work for any business, regardless of industry or whether you’re product- or service-based. 

What if I don't have 'systems' in my business?

You totally have systems in your business! Even if they aren’t as effective as you want them to be, everything you do to achieve an “objective” in your business is a system. The Systems Hub is a great way to start formalizing and improving those systems.
